MapBake Privacy Policy

MapBake turns source images into editable PBR materials on iPhone and iPad. It does not require a White Bread Games account.

Images and projects

Images you import, camera photos, project settings, generated maps, previews, and thumbnails are processed and stored on your device. MapBake does not upload that content to White Bread Games. Content leaves the app only when you explicitly use an Apple picker, Files destination, drag and drop, or sharing interface.

Camera, Photos, Files, and Clipboard

MapBake requests Camera or Photos access only when you choose the matching import action. Files access is provided through Apple's document picker. Clipboard content is read only after you choose Paste Image. You control these permissions in system settings.

Advertising and consent

The free version uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform. Depending on your region and consent choices, Google and its advertising partners may process device or advertising identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics, and other advertising or usage data to deliver, limit, secure, and measure ads. MapBake asks the consent platform for permission before requesting an ad. When required, Privacy Choices in the app lets you revisit those choices.

MapBake Pro removes ad placements. After Pro is verified on a later launch, MapBake does not initialize the advertising SDK. White Bread Games does not sell source images, generated material maps, or project contents.

Purchases

MapBake Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. White Bread Games does not receive payment-card details. Apple provides the transaction and entitlement status needed to unlock or restore the purchase.

Storage and deletion

Projects and preferences remain in MapBake's local app container. You can delete a project from Home. Deleting MapBake removes its local container according to iOS or iPadOS behavior. Files you exported elsewhere must be removed from that destination separately.

Children

MapBake is a general creative and developer tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
